| (ooc: Well, the information might be known if other characters are based in Las Vegas and have ties to the mob) Kathryn, usually going by Katta, doesn't use her last name very often as the name Battista is known in Las Vegas especially those in the mafia. Her father is Ariaz Battista, a legitimate business man to most people but there are those who know the darker side. That her father is the Don of one of the more powerful Italian mob families. This makes Katta a "mob princess" as she jokingly refers to herself at times. Raised mostly by her father from a young age as her mother died shortly before she was ten, Katta was fairly pampered and heavily protected. She attended the best schools, was given the best tutors and shielded from her father's world as much as Ariaz could manage it. That didn't mean she didn't know about what went on, she knew and sometimes she saw the darker side. For awhile she stayed out of his world but there is no denying that she can't exactly fit in the normal world either. Not with the FBI and other families watching. So Katta is taking the steps to start into that world once more, first by taking over a club that she has named Piacere Dolce. |
